Episode 4. The storyline begins. I hope you are all enjoying Super Vamp. I am delighted to bring him to you all. I have been working on more product ideas for in the future too, so would still love to hear what any of you would like to see. Soon we will not only have apparel for men and women, but I am working on some toddler shirts. I have 3 wee ones and most people I know have kids so it was a given that I would have to provide these sooner or later.

My daughter will get the first shirt. She has been the first to listen to me telling her bedtime stories of Super Vamp. Even out of the blue she will say “Mama, tell me a Super Vamp story,” which usually involves me acting out kung fu fight scenes and looking like an all around idiot. She want a Super Vamp backpack to take with her to kindergarten and wants to see the Super Vamp “movie.” I think she thinks that all stories are also movies. It is so nice to have such a supportive daughter, even if she is only 5. My twin sons are not really old enough to understand the stories yet, but since there is a shocking lack of cool apparel for small boys, I decided to make shirts that I personally would like to see on my kids. They will still be pretty simple (since I dislike cluttered, over-patterned clothes) and most likely black.

Also in the Super Vamp news, Super Vamp comic strips are now being featured on the British gothic website Resurrect Me UK. There is a Super Vamp banner and link right on their home page. I am very excited to be a part of this new website. It just launched  a few days ago as a meeting place for the alternative scene and I’ve already met a bunch of talented people from England, France and America. Check it out and while you’re there, add me to your friend list.
